To Members of the Parish Council,
Councillors, Christine Burrows, Brent Cheetham, Mike Clark, John Henderson, Chris Omand, Ben Roberts, Paul Singleton and David Sive.
You are summoned to attend a meeting of Northaw & Cuffley Parish Council that will be held from 7pm on Wednesday 12th March 2025 in Cuffley Hall, Maynard Place, Cuffley EN6 4JA.
Your presence is summoned for transacting the business outlined in the agenda below.
The meeting is open to the press and public unless the Council do otherwise RESOLVE to enter private session where members of the public and press are excluded.
Councillors are advised that for this particular meeting a closed session will be recommended, this will take place subject to a Council resolution.

24/25-67 APOLOGIES & ANNOUNCEMENTS
To receive and accept apologies for absence
24/25-68 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
a) To receive declarations of interest from members regarding items on the agenda
b) To receive any written requests for dispensations for declarable interests; and
c) To grant any requests for dispensation as appropriate
24/25-69 QUESTIONS FROM THE PUBLIC
Members of the public may ask a question, make representation, or give evidence in respect of the business on the agenda for a maximum per item of 3 minutes  To include local PCSO report.* The officer is expected to attend the event unless urgent police business arises, in which case they are obligated to prioritise their duties and respond to the situation accordingly and a paper report will be circulated.
24/25-70 MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING OF THE PARISH COUNCIL
To accept and confirm the minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on Wednesday 15th January 2025 are a true and accurate record.
24/25-71 FINANCE – MONTHLY COMMITMENTS
Council to review and agree the following financial matters:
a) To retrospectively approve the January (Month 10) and February (Month 11) payments paid under delegated authority, resolved at the last Council meeting (24/25 62b).
b) To delegate authority for the March (Month 12) and April (Month 1) invoices to be set up for payment and retrospectively approved at the May 2025 meeting
24/25-72 FINANCE COMMITMENTS AND PROJECTS 2024/25
a) To review the grant application from the Northaw & Cuffley Tennis Club
b) To resolve to repeat a survey on KGV drainage system
c) To receive a report and agree works to carry out maintenance work as identified in the Maynards Place Car Park drainage survey.
d) To receive and approve the drafted Invitation to Tender for Resurfacing of Sopers Road Car Park
e) To receive a report on a replacement barrier at KGV and approve costs
24/25-73 CHURCHYARD AND MAINTENANCE TENDERS 2025-2028
a) To review and award the Churchyard Maintenance Tender for 2025-2028
b) To review and award the Village Maintenance Tender for 2025-2028
24/25-74 LANDOWNER & LEGAL MATTERS
a) To note and approve the redrafted Orchard lease
b) Legionella Compliance Report and to instruct any action as a result of non-compliance
c) Waste Management Reorganisation
d) To discuss the removal of all trees in or near the Millenium Wall to carry out works recommended to Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council
e) Response to letter sent to Cuffley FC and subsequent request to move tournament into early June 2025

24/25-76 PARISH ADMINISTRATION

b) To note any matters for report since the issue of this agenda – these items will be for information only and no decisions other than to agenda an item for future discussion
24/25-78 QUESTIONS FROM THE PUBLIC
Time permitting and at the Chair’s discretion members of the public may ask a question on the business discussed.
Council are recommended to resolve under the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960, the public and representatives of the press and public and broadcast media must be excluded from the meeting as in consideration of the items of business their broadcast or publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest due to the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.
24/25-79 KGV CONSULTATION
Council to review and offer feedback on the KGV consultation and review recommendations on management of the future consultation
The below list of papers were all issued with the summons to all Councillors unless otherwise stated.
All papers issued have been reviewed and approved for issue by the Parish Clerk/RFO.
*As PCSO Jo Woods was unable to attend the meeting, her crime report has been included in the attached papers
