A lined road, and pavement, curves through the centre of the image with an abundant, leafy, hedgerow, trees and small white flowers lining each side of the road. In the centre of the image lampposts, hedges and cottages can be seen along the curve of the road, which rises towards Northaw village church which, along the roofs of houses, can be seen rising above the tree line.
