Oak Processionary Moth nests at KGV
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT OAK PROCESSIONARY MOTH NESTS HAVE BEEN DETECTED AT KGV PLAYING FIELD.

Please be aware that Oak Processionary Moths nests have been identified at the KGV Playing Field.
Their presence has been reported to the appropriate authorities, and we are working with a specialist to ascertain the correct, and appropriate, levels of control.
We don’t at present, expect any of the solutions proposed to damage the trees affected.
Currently, the areas around the affected trees have been cordoned off, and warning signs posted, to protect the public.
STAY BACK:
Keep yourself, children, and pets well away from the infested tree, caterpillars, and any nests.
If your dog or cat gets near them, bathe them thoroughly and immediately contact a veterinarian.
