Temporary Speed Restrictions

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY 40MPH AND 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTIONS ON VARIOUS ROADS IN NORTHAW AND CUFFLEY

NOTICE is hereby given that, owing to the likelihood of danger to the public whilst utility repair works are being undertaken, all vehicular traffic is prohibited from being driven at a speed exceeding 40mph on that length of that length of B156 Northaw Road East, Northaw from a point 800 metres west of its junction with Cattlegate Road eastwards for a distance of approximately 200 metres.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicular traffic is prohibited from being driven at a speed exceeding 30mph on that length of that length of B156 Northaw Road East, Northaw/Potters Bar from a point 600 metres west of its junction with Cattlegate Road eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 1100 metres.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicular traffic is prohibited from being driven at a speed exceeding 30mph on that length of that length of Cattlegate Road, Northaw from its junction with B156 Northaw Road East south eastwards for a distance of approximately 30 metres.

The work is expected to take 2 weeks to complete when started on the 28 July 2026.

The prohibition imposed by this notice can remain in force for up to 21 days.
